MINI Unveils Rocketman Concept
For the past few years, it seems MINI has been growing with the Clubman and Countryman. Now it's time to go smaller. This concept car was unveiled at the Geneva auto show. With MINI going back towards it roots, this concept car has yet to be cleared for production though. With it's interesting dual hinged doors, and 3+1 seating, it certainly implements some new interesting ideas.
At 3,419mm long, and 1,907mm wide, it is about 40cm longer and 50cm wider than the original Mini. It utilizes copious amounts of carbon fibre for the frame, and can be seen throughout.
Other unique features include the lit-up Union Jack roof, and drawer boot, with LED lighting through out the car.
As with most MINI concept cars, hopefully something similar will be heading to show rooms in the next few years
