Here is a list of items that the YWCA was asking for last year. This year, I see they would like monetary donations as well, in order to be able to tailor the gifts to the needs of the women and children at the homes.
The YWCA appreciates all gifts of a non-violent nature to benefit the women and children who seek their assistance.

This year the YWCA has prepared a wish list of items, in three categories, Gifts in Kind, Gifts that Nourish and Monetary Gifts.
Gifts to Give in Kind
Diapers – newborns to size six
Diaper Wipes
Infant Formula, bottles, & sippy cups
Socks, pajamas & slippers in all sizes
Bras and underwear in all sizes
Towels and face clothes
Bedding – twin XL and Standard
Pillows, blankets and comforters
Plates, bowls, mugs and glasses
Cutlery, kitchen utensils and pots
Alarm clocks and blow dryers
Journals and pens
Gifts That Nourish (YWCA is in need of non-perishable foods with nutritional value and far off expiry date that can be combined together as a meal)
Canned Meats and Fish
Canned Fruits and Vegetables
Soups (canned or dry)
Canned evaporated milk
Tetra pack rice or soya milk
Powdered milk
Canned beans
Canned lentils and beans
Dry lentils and beans
Whole grain rice or Minute rice
100% real fruit juice boxes
Individual packages of pasta or rice (like sidekicks)
